As the cartoon begins we find Ma-Caw bathing himself and playfully splashing in the bird bath of Jamal's backyard while squawking a silly tune. Then from out of a bush a short ways off Whiskers Alleycat pokes out his head. The menacing feline licks his chops and slowly creeps out of the bush making his way over to the bird bath. He peeks up behind Ma-Caw to see the parrot still splashing about blissfully unaware of his presence. Despite an accidental spray of water hitting him in the face the cat drops back down and diabolically mumbles,

Whiskers: “I got you now, ya big-beaked bozo.”

    It's then that Whiskers leaps up with a vicious hiss, but his aggressive attack is short-lived for no sooner does lunge forth then his mouth drops in shock. The cat's whiskers droop, as his eyes fall upon a monstrous angry octopus sitting in the bird bath where Ma-Caw used to be. The terrifying leviathan grabs Whiskers firmly with one of its tentacles and thrashes him soundly; beating him against the ground repeatedly before hurling him through the sky clear across town where he crashes down through the roof of a smelting plant into a vat of molten lead. Back in Jamal's yard, Ma-Caw shakes “hands” with the octopus and says,

Ma-Caw: “Ha! Haw!! Thanks, Salty! I owe you one.”

Salty the Octopus: "No problem."

Ma-Caw then flies up into the sky as the octopus waves good-bye.

Ma-Caw: “Ha! Ha! Ha! Haw!!!” [Ma-Caw laughs as the cartoon ends with an iris out]

The cartoon would otherwise appear to be over, but it quickly transitions back across town to the smelting plant which is now on fire, and lumbering away from the plant is the charred skeleton of Whiskers Alleycat. The skeletal cat looks right at the audience, puts on a pair of shades, and says,

Whiskers: "I'll be back!" [he says with a terrible Schwarzenegger accent as his left eye begins to glow bright red]

Then the cartoon ends for real with another iris out.
