Description
The relationship between me and Douglas is symbolic of my own internal strife and conflict. It is also symbolic of the overall struggle that many gay and bisexual guys may go through coming to terms with their own homosexuality. The conflict between Douglas and myself is a satire of the conflicts between Heterosexuality and Homosexuality, Homophobia and gay rights, narcissistic vanity and humbleness, Gay Pride and shame about being gay...the story of me and Douglas is just a great big cluster fuck of symbolism wrapped in a cartoonishly-funny shell.
