Malice and the Hate Diamond

For every force there is an equal, yet opposite force. This is true not only in physics, but also with magick as well. Just as the Toon Stone is the ultimate instrument of Good in the realm of Oneiroia, the Hate Diamond is the ultimate instrument of Evil.

In the story, "Love of the Stone" (a novel I'm writing about one of the many adventures my friends and I embark upon) an evil cult of dark sorcerers releases Malice from his prison so he may reek havoc and destruction once more. Malice seeks out the mystic Gemstones of Light so he may forge the Toon Stone. His reason for doing so...to corrupt it. Near the end of the story, Malice succeeds in corrupting The Toon Stone transforming it into the Hate Diamond. As he unites his power with the diamond, hatred surges throughout the realm of Oneiroia turning friend against friend, brother against brother, lover against lover, and setting everything ablaze with a spectral fire of wrathful hatred. Will the Toon 5some be able to stop him and change the Toon Stone back to its benign state?

...well obviously we do, but I'm just asking that for dramatic effect.
