This is a large part of why I'm a misanthrope. I look out upon the world; I see and hear people living, believing, and perpetuating lies and falsehoods; foolish empty ideals that do not measure up to common sense and reason, and it fills me with disgust and disdain for this entire damn planet!

I could never be a superhero...I'd just stand by and watch the world burn. It isn't worth saving.
